Meet the Ponies and Horses.

We have been out and about looking for some fun addtions to the yard including working liveries for ponies and larger horses. We have had lots of new this space as photo's arrive.

Posing in the sunshine!

Lucky is a very popular member of our yard. He is a great all rounder, loves to pop a small fence and really looks after the little ones. His favourite thing to do is go out in the field after a lovely groom from the saddle club and roll in the mud! Lucky was previously a pony club competition pony and we are very 'lucky' to now have him as part of our team!

Shadow is a firm favourite at the yard. He competed at the Centres competition at the Pony Club Championships in 2008.   Bulby's Saddle Club members have given him the thumbs up. He competed at the Pony Club Championships in 2009 in Polocrosse and his team placed 4th in the Mini's section of the competition with Natasha.  He went to Cambridge along with the Burghley Pony Club squad to the Polocrosse training.  He enjoys jumping and games and is a good alrounder.  Pictured below at the Pony Club Championships.

Mary is a beautiful Irish Draft and is big hit with the taller riders. She is beautifully mannered and enjoys dressage. She pops a small jump and has enjoyed trips to local shows and to the Pony Club Championships.

He is a real fun pony.  He schools, jumps and hacks.  He was a real star when some of the clients took him to a show, jumping lots of clear rounds and doing very well in the gymkhana games. Buster is a well known face at Bulby with a large fan base. He knows how to pull a cheeky face to win him a carrot or two! Buster is great on and off the lead-rein and loves to hack out!

Crispin is a Queensdale pony and is very elegant.  He loves to school and is very obediant to walk, trot and canter.

Crispin has had a little break from the riding school to play in the field with his friends, but will be back in work Jan 2013- he has been missed!

Emma is Alice's favourite pony. She taught her to ride as a teen and continues to teach our other teen and adult riders all the basics!

Emma is a really nice middleweight cob.  She is wonderful to take out on hacks.  Emma likes to pop a little jump.  She is a really safe little mare without being 'boring'.  Emma is going to get out and about too.  She has not been to the beach yet but.....

Much to the delight of many at the riding school Penny returned from stud after having two foals, Jack and Joey. After winning the Chase me Charlie jumping competition suprisingly beating even the best of the riding school horses there was concern that she might have arthritis and would be too old to breed from.

She is now loving being back in the swing of the riding school and takes lighter riders over jumps and loves to hack out.

Dino is a fantastic hunting and jumping pony who loves polocrosse.  He went with the Burghley team to the Pony Club Championships in 2009 competing in the junior class with ponies up to 14.2 hh.

He was also in the third placing Burghley Team at the Championships in Polocrosse.

Best of friends!
